Wibbly Wobbly Log Jog

Wibbly Wobbly Log Jog 2023 Update

We regret to announce that due to a lack of resources the club feels it is unable to host the Wibbly Wobbly Log Jog in 2023.
We know this will be dissapointing news to many of you as this is a very popular event. The race, however, requires an unusually high number of experienced marshals who are familiar with the forest trails. Currently our membership levels mean that we feel we cannot safely deliver this popular event. Hopefully we can return in the future.

About

The Wibbly Wobbly Log Jog is an enjoyable trail run of approximately five miles, suitable for all abilities, through the unique scenic tracks and paths of High Lodge, Thetford Forest in the heart of Breckland.

By its nature the forest trails used for the events have numerous trip hazards (roots & stones etc) and all runners must take care and be aware for their own safety in this respect.

Competitors must be 16 or over on the day of the event. Sorry, no dogs allowed in the event and no personal stereos/MP3 players etc permitted to be used while running. Any runners disregarding these points will be liable to be disqualified.

The race start will be clearly marked at the High Lodge Forest Centre and is accessed from the B1107, Brandon to Thetford road.
